This was so timely! In fact I recently wrote about this very topic (although not as eloquent as you have!) and have been meditating on the practice of waiting for awhile now 💜

I can totally relate to what you’re saying, Kelley! I’ve definitely found myself getting caught up in trying to rush things or feeling down when I hear a “no” or face a setback. But I’ve learned that if something isn’t happening right now, it’s because God has something better in store, or it’s just not the right time. I try to see those closed doors as blessings in disguise, signs that I’m being guided to something greater. When I focus more on my personal growth and trust in His timing, I feel less stressed and more at peace with the journey. Your story is a great reminder to have faith and let things unfold the way they’re meant to.

Yes, yes, and more yes! I’m happy my story was a great reminder and I’m so proud of how you’re handling your lessons and perspective towards the waiting process. It’s not always easy and, as you pointed out, we get caught up sometimes but when we remember to let go and trust, beautiful things happen ✨💚

Whew, I 1000000% needed to read this piece tonight. Thanks so much for sharing! I’ve been tussling with lack of patience and self-doubt more than ever these past few weeks but I know my waiting for all the things I desire is not in vain and are on the way to me. God’s timing is much better than mine.

You’re welcome! Feeling that lack of patience and self-doubt is so real. It’s in those moments when we have to switch our mindsets the most and keep the faith. Sometimes a little mental tussle is necessary 🥊 lol. Gotta fight those negative thoughts.
